Cresten Boase BA (Hons), BSc (Hons) Herbal Medicine, MCPP MAR

Member of the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy, Member of the Association of Reflexologists.

I trained as a herbal practitioner at the University of Middlesex and the Archway Clinic of Herbal Medicine, Whittington Hospital Campus, London. The 4 year degree course included modern diagnostic techniques, conventional anatomy and physiology, as well as focusing on modern research into the therapeutics of herbal medicine, and traditional knowledge about the use of herbs as medicine.

I became a full member of the National Institute of Herbal Medicine after graduation, and I am now a full member of the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy. I then qualified as a reflexologist after attending the South Devon School of Reflexology for a year, and am now a full member of the Association of Reflexologists.

I continue to develop my particular interest in the use of herbal and nutritional therapy in the treatment of skin, digestive, and stress-related disorders. With few exceptions, herbal medicine can be used alongside conventional medicine. Reflexology is a gentle and safe therapy helpful in a wide range of conditions, as well as being enjoyed by many as a pleasant and relaxing stress-reducing treatment in its own right.
